Hey everyone,
Keep us in your prayers - we fly out of Kilimanjaro International Airport tonight @ 8:55.  We only have a 50 minute layover in Schipol in Amsyerdam then on to Detroit.  We are due in Pittsburgh around 2:30 Tuesday.  We deeply appreciate all of your support.  I will be in contact later with a full report of the wonderful work that was done in East Africa this trip.

Hey everyone,
I finished my teaching on James.  Will give final tomorrow at 8:00 am.  The students have until noon to turn in their papers.  The students were very appreviative of their commentaries on the book of James.  They wanted me to express this gratitude to all of you who were so generous with your contributions. You have made a tremendous impact for good in these folks lives.  I will leave soon to ride to the airport with Cy Stafford to pick up Keith Kasarjian.  Keep us in your prayers.

Hey folks,
Just a note to let you know we are alive and well in Tanzania.  I preached in Monduli yesterday.  They continue to grow.  Lord willing they will move into their new building within two weeks.  I completed the first day of classes at the Andrew Conally School of Preaching in Arusha.  We are studying the book of James.  They seem to be very bright, hard working students.  Keep us in your prayers.

Dear friends,
Only eternity will determine the ultimate success of the "What Does the Bible Say" seminar and medical clinic that was sponsored by the Ohono church of Christ in Luando, Kenya September 4&5, 2007. David Wasonga and Jacob Omallo worked diligently in planning and conducting the seminar. This was a cooperative effort from the beginning between sponsoring congregations and Christians in the United States and several of the churches in western Kenya. Counting the pre-seminar work, statistical results for the seminar are as follows: over 170 in attendance (total for two days); 22 Gospel preachers in attendance; two denominational "pastors" in attendance (they were impressed with the biblical emphasis and are engaged in further study with one of the Gospel preachers); eight lessons delivered including the subjects Bible Authority, Becoming a Christian, Growing Spiritually as a Christian, Church Organization and Biblical Qualifications for Elders and Deacons; at least two hours of questions and answers each day; over 140 treated at the medical clinic and over 150 toothbrushes distributed. Speakers for the seminar were Michael Reese, Elias Omollo and Joseph Ochallo with David Wasonga and Jacob Omolo assisting in the question and answers. Nita Reese and Erica Ochallo conducted the medical clinic. It was so encouraging to see faithful brethren working together in the spirit of unity and the bond of peace. Much gospel seed was sown - may God give the increase. We rejoice in the addition of the new members of the Kingdom.
